Speaker 1. Dr. JUAN PAVÓN
Juan Pavón is a Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (UCM) as well as the director of the UCM-GRASIA research group, which consists of more than 20 researchers. His main line of work is the application of Software Engineering methods and tools for the development of applications that make use of Artificial Intelligence techniques, based on the Multi-Agent Systems paradigm. The domain of applications is wide, including web services, knowledge management, social networks, simulation of complex systems, decision making, interactive art, e-learning, common-based peer production, and ambient assisted living. Along the time the research is becoming more and more inter-disciplinary, specially with the incorporation in the group of experts in social research, communication, and health sciences. Current projects try to promote responsible research and innovation principles, with emphasis on the collaborative and multidisiciplinary nature of the processes, and focus on the development of social applications, more specifically on disability solutions. Results are available as open software through SourceForge.net and GitHub, and around two hundred publications in conferences and journals.

Engineer, teacher, researcher and popularizer technology. Alma mater and promoter of the Aumenta.me project Augmented reality and Virtual Education of Educación de la Asociación Espiral, Educación y Tecnología. Member of the Consejo Asesor of Aumentaty. Since its inception in the teaching profession, he has felt the need to explore various sides of the integration of ICT in educational environments, researching and promoting the pedagogical and technological innovation. Tutor teacher training in new technologies. Speaker at various national and international conferences spreading the principles of the application of Augmented Reality in practice and educational learning. His areas of current interest are Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Mobile applied to education.

Graduated in Bachelor in Computer Science from the University Feevale (2007), Masters in Education at the Graduate Program in Education of the UFRGS (2010). PhD at the Graduate in Computer Science Program in Education of UFRGS (2014). It operates in research projects on autism, communication deficits, inclusion, accessibility, teacher training. And with Assistive Technologies, especially alternative communication, focusing on SCALA Alternative Communication System for Individuals with Autism, UFRGS. Is Partner Founder of I3C Institute Curiosity, Science and Creation, which acts as advisory counsel.
